  • ADA-Compliant mounts

    The Planar Clarity Matrix is the only media wall product on the market that meets the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) regulations and similar international regulations for accessibility and safety. Planar’s Clarity Matrix LCD Video Wall System with next-generation EasyAxis™ Mounting System, which measures a mere 3.6 inches in total depth, surpasses the stringent ADA requirement for protruding objects of less than 4 inches. Planar is the only video wall supplier in the world to meet this important safety legislation. Planar's d82L, ep46 and ep55 large-format displays are also ADA compliant.

  • ERO™

    The Clarity Matrix with ERO (Extended Ruggedness and Optics) utilizes a proprietary Planar bonded front glass and smooth touch surface process to create a highly durable display that can withstand the rigors of high-traffic environments and accommodate touch-screen usage in interactive applications. Clarity Matrix with ERO also improves perceived contrast by more than 300 percent, thereby giving viewers the highest quality visual experience making it more readable and impactful even in bright public venues.

  • Planar’s projected capacitive multi-touch technology

    The multi-touch capability allows consumers to use multi touch features with its touch screens, such as gestures, zoom and flick, which enables an overall better experience. The very sleek, bezel-free design gives it a glossy finish and eliminates the potential for contaminants to get inside the bezel. The touch screen technology is based upon a durable projected capacitive technology and Planar's standard 3-year, 2-day advance ship replacement warranty ensures customer satisfaction in the harshest of kiosk and Point-of-sale environments.

  • AccessConsole™

    Planar’s AccessConsole™, found on the d82L large-format display, provides lockable, flip-panel access to electronics directly above the screen. Most components can be replaced without the inconvenience and cost of replacing the entire LCD.

  • EasyAxis™

    The new Clarity Matrix EasyAxis Mounting System design is only 3.6” (92mm) of depth from the wall to the front of the display and incorporates a service mode to accommodate in-place front service access. The LCD module includes EasyAxis adjustment cams that facilitate precise 6-axis alignment, ensuring uniform, minimized image-to-image gap. The Clarity Matrix EasyAxis Mounting System simplifies and minimizes the time required to install and maintain a perfectly aligned video wall.
