Arena Displays

Modern stadiums and arenas stimulate guests the ultimate in unforgettable experiences. With the roar of the crowds, the thrill of the game and the pyrotechnics of the concert, it's the perfect placed to get creative with digital displays and giant video walls.

Sports are experienced in live action on a large scale, but smart venue design can also foster a sense of connectedness to the team, players and other fans. Planar large-format LCD displays showcase animated statistics of honored athletic stars in the arena lobbies and concourses. Beyond a retired jersey, take fans back in time with video showing classic game highlights and career stats and interviews.

Wayfiding products, such as Planar's large-format LCDs, guide fans to concessions and retail areas where they can share a meal or purchase mementos.

In the arena, Planar's Clarity Matrix screens are tiled together to encircle the arena and each seating level to enhance crowd support, showcase sponsor advertising and update fans on other scores from games happening simultaneously.

In luxury suites, both large-format LCD screens and tiled Clarity Matrix media walls LCD screens give VIPs their own personal highlight screens. Each Matrix tile can run a separate video feed showing the news, and other games on each screen or can work together to show replay from the game or a single large image.

Planar's touch screens can be used in multiple places inside any sports venue, from behind each concession stand and ticket window, to embedded touch screens inside luxury suites that enable fans to order food or call up stats on any player with the tip of a finger.

And while Planar products offer a feast of input for fans, they also play essential roles behind the scenes, from state-of-the-art broadcast monitors in the video booth to replay screens along press row. From the large scale, to the personal, Planar technology has every angle covered.
